Hi, I’m Jesse, certified AYM therapist, it is my pleasure to share this amazing, healing treatment. I have worked across London and India over the last two years giving AYM, and have recently relocated to the Brighton and Hove area.
I gained my massage diploma under the tutelage of expert in the field, Ananta Sylvain Girard, founder and main instructor at the ARYM Institute and personal assistant of Kusum Modak, the developer of the original method “Ayurvedic Yoga Massage”.
I am very passionate about the technique and the myriad of health benefits it brings, and feel honoured to share this wonderfully therapeutic treatment with you, from the direct lineage of Kusum and Ananta.
I also teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram and Yin yoga, as well as leading guided meditation and Yoga Nidra to corporate clients and within top London yoga studios.
“I’ve had two massages with Jesse, both in my home. I really recommend her yoga massage, I found her to be really attentive, really picked up on my physical needs / areas of my body that were tight, such as my left shoulder. I actually found it to be really informative and I could tell she knew a lot about the therapeutic benefit and make it individualised. It’s quite different to just a relaxing massage because the yoga stretches really make you feel like you’ve had a workout and afterwards I felt relaxed but also energised.” (Olivia, London)
“Jesse gave an invigorating and relaxing stretch massage, as it was my first time having an ayurvedic massage I didn’t know exactly what to expect. Jesse told me when to breathe through the stretches and I could feel the energy/love in the face massage at the end that left me feeling energised. I would definitely recommend Jesse and will be seeing her again!” (Shani, London)”
“I’ve now had two yoga massages from Jesse, and I’d never had this type of massage before. It was certainly different to previous massages, as it had the element of stretching Afterwards I felt as though I’d had a good work-out but also was also accompanied with deep relaxation. The part where she massages and then stretches the legs was amazing. Every single part of the body is worked on, even including a face massage at the end. It is so good I have recommended her to all my friends.” (Sue, Preston)
Each treatment is between 60-75 minutes, including full body, head, neck and face.
Take care of personal hygiene and everything else will be provided.
I encourage you to give 24-48 hours should you need to cancel, to ensure I can manage my diary as efficiently as possible.
Yes, I am happy to offer treatment in whatever setting works best for you, be this your home, hotel, office, in fact pretty much any location of your choice. Or, you can come to the treatment room I work from in Clapham.
An AYM massage treatment can vary in duration, but it is common to book for a 60 or 75 minute massage. A treatment lasting 60 minutes will provide enough time to cover the entire body, including a facial massage at the end of the treatment. A 75 minute massage will give a little more time to each region of the body, face, neck and head. It is often preferable to receive 2 massages of 60-75 minute each, spaced a few days to a week apart for maximum therapeutic effect.
Absolutely, It is not uncommon to book for hen parties, couples, mother and daughter, you name it. Providing there is adequate space and privacy to carry out the treatment, why not have a day of pampering with loved ones, creating a spa experience in your own home.
