Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM)
Inspired by the Indian traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage therapy (AYM) combines deep tissue oil massage and yoga-based assisted stretching. It should be emphasised that although it also has its roots in Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a different bodywork from Abhyanga Massage or other traditional Ayurvedic treatments: only a little massage oil is used, an exfoliating powder is applied, assisted stretching is the central part of the treatment, etc.: Ayurvedic Yoga Massage vs traditional Abhyangam & Ayurveda massages
