What to Expect in the 3-Hour Introductory Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Course:
Short Demonstrations:
Observe key techniques, such as warming up the back and arms, stimulating the erector spinae, and opening the scapulae, to build your foundation.
Interactive Practice:
Apply impactful techniques like neck massage, cobra stretch, and belly massage under expert guidance.
Hands-On Experience:
Focus on fundamental methods, including warming up the back and legs, while learning how to integrate breathwork for a seamless massage flow.
During the 3-hour introductory course, you will learn to:
1. Oil and Calamus Massage:
- Engage in guided, interactive sessions to give and receive massages.
- Learn warm-up techniques for the back using Ayurvedic oil and Calamus root powder, a signature of AYM.
- Use deep tissue massage techniques for the back, arms, shoulders, and neck.
2. Yoga-Based Assisted Stretches:
- Explore practical stretches that improve flexibility and release tension.
3. Belly and Facial Massage:
- Gain an overview of these techniques to complete a holistic treatment.
4. Introduction to the Use of Props for Support:
- Discover how to integrate props to enhance your technique and ensure client comfort.
