Meals and tea breaks

We usually take a lunch break from 1 pm-2 pm.
There are lots of nice and affordable restaurants all around.
Think about bringing your picnic; it is best as there is a lovely park Le jardin de la Folie-Titon at 100 meters.
It is possible for the residents at the AEPP to cook lightly; for the others only to reheat.
The mornings and afternoons are interspersed with short tea breaks. Good coffee, tea, herbal teas and biscuits are offered. Bring a little something or your creations for us to taste (if you wish to improve the buffet).

French visa

Please apply for Tourist Visa only**.
To get the French Schengen visa, please visit :

During the training in Paris, ARYM provides you mostly with everything you need: mattresses, bedsheets, lungis (Indian cotton sarongs), towels, blankets, booklet, oil, essential oils, face cream and calamus powder.
Bring your own materials (oils, cream, towels, etc) if you have specific preferences.

Please bring with you:

  • Comfortable clothes (not too tight) for giving and receiving an oil massage. For example, cotton trousers, t-shirts, shorts, hair elastics, cap (if needed), etc.
  • To receive the treatment, you need to wear underwear, stretchable underwear for men is better.
  • A pair of flip-flops. We walk barefoot in the classroom. We recommend that you bring a pair of flip-flops to access the tea and toilet areas. ** Collective sandals will be available.
  • If you wear glasses, please bring a protective case for your glasses to avoid breakages.

Practical advice at arrival

  • Rest well after your travel. If necessary use earplugs and eye shades to adjust to the new environment.
  • Bring your usual pillow for better sleep.
  • Take care of your belonging especially in metro and public areas. Learn more

Personal hygiene

Personal hygiene and cleanliness are essential for massage therapists as we work closely during training. The best practice is to shower before and after the working day. When arriving at the training site, wash your hands with soap before entering the training room. Keep your shoes outside and bring a pair of sandals (flip-flops) for moving around (tea break area, toilets, etc.).
Rewash your hands and feet before and after each massage session. Use wet baby wipes if necessary; they are readily available. Nails should be short, with smooth edges, using a nail file. Be careful not to cut them too quickly and too close to the skin, leading to discomfort, bleeding and possibly infection.
