Home Shanti Home is located between the Lure mountain and the Luberon, in high Provence, 90 minutes from Avignon or Aix-en-Provence. “Populated” by 400-year-old fruit and chestnut trees, lavender fields and other medicinal plants, and a three-hundred-year-old sheepfold, this 20-hectare estate is ideal for recharging batteries. You will appreciate the calm, silence, and gentle energy of nature are all qualities.

ALL INCLUDED PACKAGES:  Tuition fees + 8 nights accommodation and 9 days meals per person
For your convenience, we offer four all-inclusive prices that cover tuition fees, 9 nights of accommodation, and 10 days of meals.
**An additional day and meals can be arranged as well.

Notes:
Rooms: the bed is covered with a house sheet. Please bring a top sheet (or a duvet), and a 2 towels (a extra for the swimming pool). Warm blankets are available.
Campers: For your comfort, remember to bring a floor mat for under your tent and the entrance

MEALS

Meal package including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options is available for €39 per day.

HOW TO RESERVE AND PAY FOR YOUR STAY
Please follow the steps below:

1. Register to event – You will receive an e-mail containing the complete form to fill in, where you can choose your  accommodation and meal package preferences.
2. Contact Dhyan Pascal for accommodation and meal package queries.
3. Payment for accommodation and meals is due upon arrival.
4. Payment methods accepted: cash payments are preferred, but credit cards, bank transfers and PayPal are also available as alternative methods.

How to reach Simiane-la-Rotonde

Simiane-la-Rotonde is only directly accessible by car and taxi. The bus line 916 from Apt to Sault, stops in Saint-Christol d’Albion, 6 km from Home Shanti Home (HSH). Call us on +33-685912865 or +33-676870016 and we will pick you up at the bus stop.

Arriving by bus: according to your place of departure, the best is to reach Apt. Then take another bus to Saint-Christol. Note that we can also send you a free taxi in Apt to reach HSH. Learn more about coming by bus

BY PLANE

The best way is to arrive at Marseille airport, then take a taxi (€250) to the centre HSH. Or take a bus to Avignon and another one to Apt where we can come to pick you up

• Marseille Provence Marignane Airport – 130 km (This is the best option)
• Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport Nice – 210 km
• Charles de Gaulle Airport – 780 km (and get a fast TGV train to Avignon directly from the airport)
• Paris-Orly airport – 750 km
• Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport Lyon – 300 km

BY TRAIN

Simiane-la-Rotonde cannot be reached directly by train.
It is recommended to travel to Avignon TGV train station, located 80 km away.
From there, you have two options to reach Home Shanti Home.
1. The first recommended option is to reach by train Avignon TGV station (80 km from HSH). From there, you can take our shuttle service at the time and date indicated.
A simple, convenient and inexpensive way (2.5 Euros) is to take the 915 bus directly from the train station exit (TGV or city center) to Apt (24 km from HSH). Once you arrive in Apt, we can arrange a taxi to pick you up (30-minutes / cost €50) or we can pick you up free of charge if you can group with other participants.
If you prefer, you can also take a cab from Avignon (90 minutes / cost: €150) – we encourage you to get together with other participants via the WhatsApp group.
2. Another option is to take a train to either Manosque (50 km away) or Aix-en-Provence (113 km away). From there, you can reach HSH by taxi (there are some bus also).

BY BUS

Marseille to Manosque or to Forcalquier

Bus Line 65 with ZOU to Forcalquier, Marseille via Manosque

From Marseille Airport, take the bus LO40 to Aix-en-Provence Bus Station, then bus 65 towards the cities of Manosque (50 km from HSH – 1:50-hour journey). From there we can send you a taxi. You can also go to Forcalquier on the same line to arrive closer, but it takes 40min longer (40km from HSH – 3:30-hour journey).

Marseille to Avignon

Please be aware that there may be changes on the Marseille-Avignon line due to recent bus line cancellations. Departures to Avignon are currently taking place from Marseille Saint Charles station, which is located 30 km away from the airport. To save time, it may be advisable to consider going through Aix-en-Provence instead. For more information, please visit https://www.sncf-connect.com/ and enter the following details:

About 1:30-hour journey
The shuttle bus service from Marseille Provence Airport to Avignon is operated by several companies, including Navette Provence and BlaBlaBus. Bus are almost every hour and are located at just at the exit of Airport.

Note:
1. Departure are possible from Avignon TGV, Avignon Centre train station, and the bus station.
2. You can buy your ticket directly from the driver when boarding the bus.
3. Monday to Saturday: If you depart from Avignon before 15:50, you can catch a bus connection in Apt for Saint Christol using bus line 916. In Apt, there are departures at 12:15 and 17:20. We can arrange to pick you up at the bus station in Saint Christol.
4. If the bus is delayed, please inform the driver when boarding the bus 915, so that he can inform the driver of the 916 bus to wait for you.
5. We can organize a free taxi from Apt to Home Shanti Home.
6. Sunday Schedule: Only buses from Avignon to Apt are available on Sundays. There is no bus connection from Apt to Saint-Christol on Sundays.

Practical information about ARYM training courses in Home Shanti Home

Course schedule
The schedule varies for each course. Please refer to the Event Page. for specific details

Material
ARYM provides mattresses, small towels, blankets cover, training booklet, oil, essential oils, Himalaya face cream and organic calamus powder.

Please bring with you:

• 2 or 3 large towels, preferably large sarongs/pareos (as they are easy to wash and dry).
  NOTE: you can order from us Indian lungis (Indian cotton sarongs), and we will bring them for you. Price: €15 per lungi. Please place your order at least seven days before the group start.
• Your own cosmetics (oils, cream, towels, etc.) if you have specific preferences.
• Comfortable clothes to give and receive oil massage (not too tight) . For example, cotton trousers, t-shirts, shorts, hair bands, etc.
• 2 pairs of warm socks
• To receive the treatment, you must wear underwear. Stretchable underwear is better.
• Please bring a protective case for your glasses to avoid breakages if you wear glasses.
• We walk barefoot inside the classroom, but we recommend you bring a pair of flip-flops for your bedroom.
• Hand wash detergent. There is a washing machine at the centre for collective use.
• Top bed sheet and towel for the room.

Practical advice

• Rest well after your travel. If necessary, use earplugs and eyeshades to adjust to the new environment.
• Bring your regular pillow for better sleep.
• Take care of your belongings while travelling in public areas (Airport, metro, train station, etc.). Using a travelling money belt is best.
• Any suggestion is welcome!

Personal Hygiene

Personal hygiene and cleanliness are essential for massage therapists as we work closely together during training. The best practice is to shower before and after the work day. Wash your hands and feet before and after each massage session. Wet baby wipes are handy but use sparingly. Nails should be kept short with smooth edges, using an appropriate nail file. Be careful not to cut them too fast, too short or too close to the skin, which will lead to discomfort when massaging.
