Founded in 1996 by Ananta Sylvain Girard, the ARYM Institute (Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Massage) is the original AYM Institute. Originally renowned for hosting Master Kusum Modak’s training courses in India during the late 90s and early 2000s at the peak of her teaching career.
With three decades of international experience, the ARYM Institute has since established itself as a leading global organisation, preserving and honouring Kusum’s original legacy while enriching its tradition with comprehensive and evolving AYM courses designed by Ananta. Today, over 2,500 students from across the world have joined the training programme, bringing Ayurvedic Yoga Massage to diverse cultures and communities under the blessing of Master Kusum Modak. ARYM upholds a holistic approach to learning, fostering both technical skill and personal growth so that practitioners can serve clients with authenticity and compassion.
Founded in 2015, l’École ARYM (École Internationale d’Ayurvedic Yoga Massage ARYM) is a non-profit association based in France, dedicated to promoting the AYM method and supporting practitioners across the EEC and beyond.
ARYM aims to:
- Provide global training to learn and advance in the practice of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM)
- Support members in advancing their careers as AYM practitioners and Instructors.
- Advocate for the AYM method in the wellness industry, engaging with health professionals, yoga and ayurveda schools, and wellness centres.
- Raise public awareness and understanding of the benefits of the AYM method.
