Cancellation and Rescheduling Requests
All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing ONLY BY EMAIL to contact@arym.org. The request must include your full name, contact phone number, and the email address used during registration.
TRAINING COURSES
1. Cancellation by ARYM
If ARYM cancels a course, registered participants will be notified by email, and all payments will be refunded immediately.
2. Postponement by ARYM
If ARYM reschedules a course and the new dates are unsuitable for the participant, a full refund will be issued immediately.
3. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)
Worldwide 7-Day Guarantee:
For all training courses worldwide, participants benefit from a seven (7) day cooling-off period starting from the date of online registration. During these 7 days, registration may be cancelled without penalty, and all payments will be refunded in full.
European Union 14-Day Guarantee:
In accordance with EU consumer protection law, for training courses taking place within the European Union, this cooling-off period is extended to a total of fourteen (14) days from the date of online registration.
Courses Starting During the Cooling-Off Period:
If a course starts before the expiration of the applicable cooling-off period (7 days worldwide / 14 days in the EU), participants are required to provide explicit confirmation at checkout, expressly requesting that the course begin immediately and acknowledging that the right of withdrawal will be lost once the course has commenced. Once this confirmation has been given and the course has officially started, the right of withdrawal expires. Any subsequent cancellation will be governed strictly by Section 4 (Cancellation by the Participant).
Scope & Local Organisers:
This right applies exclusively to online distance sales and does not apply to in-person registrations made on-site. Beyond the applicable cooling-off period, cancellations for courses booked via local organisers are governed by the local organiser’s specific Terms and Conditions.
Refunds, when applicable, are processed via the original payment method within 10 business days.
4. Cancellation by the Participant
During the cooling-off period (as explained in Section 3):
Full refund without penalty.
More than 21 days before the start date (22+ days):
If only the registration deposit has been paid: The deposit is retained as ARYM Course Credit for a future training course.
If all or part of the remaining balance has also been paid: The deposit is retained as credit, and participants may choose one of the following two options for the amounts already paid toward the remaining balance:
• Option A (Cash Refund): The remaining balance paid is refunded in cash within ten (10) business days to the original payment method.
• Option B (Course Credit + Bonus): The remaining balance paid is converted into ARYM Course Credit, valid for thirty-six (36) months, plus an additional bonus credit equal to 5% of the remaining balance paid. This bonus credit is applicable toward any future workshop or mentorship programme and shares the same validity and credit terms outlined below.
Between 8 and 21 days before the start date (8–21 days):
The total amount paid, minus the non-refundable registration deposit, will be issued as an ARYM Course Credit valid for thirty-six (36) months.
7 days or less before the start date (0–7 days):
The total course fee is non-refundable and non-creditable, as course materials, venue arrangements, and instructor bookings are finalised.
*Credit Terms: Course credit (including any bonus credit) is valid for thirty-six (36) months from the original course start date, subject to course availability. Credit is personal to the registered participant, non-transferable, and cannot be reassigned, sold, or redeemed for cash.
5. Courses Booked via Local Organisers
For courses booked via local organisers (not through the ARYM website), please refer to the organiser’s refund policy.
6. Accommodation
When accommodation is offered in connection with a training course, it is generally booked directly with the venue or local organiser. ARYM is not responsible for cancellation or refund conditions related to these services. Please refer to the specific refund policy of the venue or organiser for any accommodation-related requests.
Acknowledgement of Responsibility
1. Assumption of Risk
Participants acknowledge that Ayurvedic Yoga Massage training is a physical, hands-on discipline involving deep tissue massage, assisted yoga-based stretching, and practical exercises performed with and on fellow participants. By registering, participants knowingly accept the inherent risks associated with this type of training, including but not limited to muscular soreness, temporary discomfort, minor strains, bruising, or other injuries that may arise from giving or receiving massage and stretching techniques during the course.
2. Health and Fitness Declaration
Participants confirm that they are in good health and physically able to take part in the training. Participants must inform ARYM and their training partners, prior to the start of the course, of any pre-existing medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or physical limitation that could affect their ability to safely give or receive massage and assisted stretching. ARYM and its instructors cannot be held responsible for complications arising from undisclosed medical conditions.
3. Indemnification Between Participants
Since training includes hands-on practice between participants, each participant agrees to act with reasonable care and to follow the instructor’s guidance when giving or receiving massage and assisted stretching. Each participant assumes responsibility for their own conduct during partner practice and releases fellow participants, ARYM, and its instructors from liability for injuries arising from another participant’s good-faith, non-negligent actions during supervised training exercises.
4. Limitation of Liability
Ananta Sylvain Girard, the ARYM Institute, and its team shall not be held liable for bodily injury arising from the inherent risks of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage training, as described above, except where such injury results from the proven negligence or wilful misconduct of ARYM or its certified instructors.
Participants are strongly advised to obtain and maintain Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance through a recognised broker specialising in massage therapy coverage.
We encourage both trainees and certified Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) practitioners to apply for insurance with the IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists), which includes Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) by ARYM among its thousand+ covered modalities under a single policy.
5. Practising Outside Supervised Sessions
Participants who choose to practise massage or assisted stretching techniques outside of supervised course sessions — including on friends, family, or members of the public, whether during or after the training — do so entirely at their own responsibility. ARYM, its instructors, and Ananta Sylvain Girard are not liable for any injury, harm, or consequence arising from such unsupervised practice. Completion of the course does not constitute professional certification to practise commercially until the relevant AYM Therapist Diploma has been issued.
1. No refunds are available once a participant has enrolled in the Online CPD Mentorship programme.
2. If a free trial is offered, no refund is available once the participant continues past the trial period.
3. For monthly subscriptions, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. There are no refunds for the ongoing month once payment has been processed.
4. For 12-month subscriptions, no refunds will be issued after payment, except in cases where ARYM cancels the mentorship programme.
5. Upon cancellation or expiration of the subscription, participants will lose access to mentorship materials and sessions unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
6. The mentorship is non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another individual or programme.
7. ARYM reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the mentorship programme without notice.
FIND-THERAPIST MEMBERSHIPS
1. The Find-Therapist membership is non-refundable once the subscription has been processed. The membership is non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another individual or programme.
2. ARYM’s Liability: ARYM is not responsible for the services, conduct, or outcomes provided by practitioners listed on the Find-Therapist directory. Practitioners operate independently, and clients engage their services at their own discretion and risk.
